Forecasters have said today will bring rain moving eastwards across the region, with drier conditions into the afternoon with some sunny spells but also a few showers. Winds easing and potentially feeling quite warm in any afternoon sunshine. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Tonight, the Met Office has said there will be plenty of dry weather overnight with clear periods, however a scattering of showers are likely. Winds continuing to ease allowing it to turn locally chilly inland - and minimum temperature 6 °C.
However, the forecaster predicts sunshine and showers tomorrow morning, with some heavier downpours possible and the high chance of hail and thunder around 3pm. Breezy at times but pleasant enough in the sunshine. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
