A NATIONAL bakery chain, which specialises in egg free sweet treats, is set to open in Bournemouth next week.
Having launched its first franchise back in 2009, Eggfree Cake Box is to host a grand opening for its 175th store at Southbourne Grove on Friday October 29.
Free cupcakes will be given to each customer visiting the store on its opening day between 11am and 3pm.

The founders of Eggfree Cake Box follow a strict lacto vegetarian diet, and that is how they came up with idea for the company.
A spokesman from the business said: “We’re delighted to welcome the Bournemouth store to the Cake Box family.
"Today our stores are a far cry from those early days where we had a limited menu but we now offer a huge range of cakes, cupcakes, cheesecakes, sundae cups, loaf bakes and cake slices, to delight our customers."
The company’s eggless fresh cream cakes are made every day and displayed in chilled cabinets allowing customers to browse through the glass and select a cake to take home.
Customers can also add a special message or a photo, to the top of the cake for any special occasion.
