VETERANS and their families are invited to attend a support group meeting to build a camaraderie with like-minded people.
The Sherborne Veterans Support Group will meet on Saturday, October 30 to provide a safe space for veterans and their families to connect with people who have gone through similar experiences.
The event will take place from 10am until midday and refreshments will be available. There will be a short talk by Nicky Murdoch MBE, independent chair of the Armed Forces Public Patient Voice Group.
A spokesman for the event said: "If you are an Armed Forces veteran, widow, widower or serving member and family, please come along and join us at our informal drop-in session for a friendly chat with other like-minded people to reconnect with the camaraderie enjoyed in those serving times."
