OFFICERS are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary in Ferndown.

Between 6.30pm and 9.45pm on Wednesday October 13 a burglary occurred at an address in Church Road. 

The victim returned home to find their home had been searched and items of jewellery were taken.

Police Sergeant Rich Barnett, of Weymouth CID, said: “Officers have been carrying out enquiries into this incident, including house-to-house visits and CCTV checks.

“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity to please get in touch.

“I would also urge any motorists who were travelling along Church Road during the relevant timeframe to please check their dashcams for any footage to assist my investigation.”
