A MAN has been found not guilty of possessing a knife in public.
Oakley Coyle, also known as Oakley Luckham, denied having a Stanley knife in Poole on February 8.
The 19-year-old, of Lanark Close, Poole, stood trial at Bournemouth Crown Court this week.
Following deliberations, the jury returned a not guilty verdict on the morning of Friday, October 15.
On the first day of the trial, Wednesday, October 13, Coyle pleaded guilty to a charge of robbery of a 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, on February 8.
A sentencing hearing for this offence was set for November 5 at the same court by Judge Brian Forster QC. The defendant was remanded in custody.
