MOTORISTS are warned of difficult driving conditions as a weather warning for fog is issued in Dorset.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of fog in the South West, which covers from Poole west, including Weymouth, Dorchester, Bridport and Lyme Regis, and stretching as far north as Sturminster Newton.
The warning is in place until 10am today.
A spokesman for the weather forecaster said: "Early fog patches could lead to some difficult driving conditions. Expect slower journey times with delays to bus and train services.
"Fog patches may be dense in places with visibility dropping below 100 metres at times and perhaps below 50 metres in a few places.
"Most of this fog will lift and clear by mid-morning, but a few stubborn patches may linger until late morning."
