Well, this photo from the Peter’s Collection shows the official opening of the first section of the Undercliff Drive and promenade on the 6 November 1907.
The Mayor, Alderman A.J. Parsons is pictured with the Mayoress with the Undercliff Drive Committee all walk the section after a ribbon cutting. The final section of the prom was completed in 1914.
