A HOUSE with ‘lovely views’ of coastal Dorset could be yours for just £225,000.
The three-bedroom cottage, based on The Green in Morcombelake has been put up for auction by Symonds & Sampson with a starting price of £225,000.
Described as ‘charming’, Spur Cottage has scenic views of the sea and Golden Cap and offers buyers a chance to buy a home in a rural area of Dorset.
The property, based between Bridport and Lyme Regis, however, requires complete refurbishment and restoration and has not been lived inside for 30 years.
The brochure’s photos appeared to show the cottage has exposed flooring and walls and rooms require extensive repairs. Alongside the needed renovations, the property has no parking available.

A description of the property reads: “Spur Cottage is likely to have been built in the early 20th century and has over the years been substantially extended, with rendered elevations under slate and felt roofs.
“The property has not been lived in for 30 years and therefore is now in need of complete refurbishment and modernisation throughout.
“This house is of course all about position, being in an elevated setting with lovely views from the first floor and back garden towards the National Trust Golden Cap estate and the sea.”
