East Dorset Friends of the Earth, in conjunction with Bournemouth University and UCU is holding a Climate Change Question Time at Bournemouth University, Lees Lecture Theatre, Talbot Campus on Saturday 6th November, 1pm to 3pm.

The event will enable members of the public, local organisations and councillors to hear from a panel of local experts to find out 'What Does Climate Change Mean for Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole?'.

This has been timed to coincide with the international COP26 Conference in Glasgow, which takes places between the 1st and 12 November 2021 and will provide a local opportunity to encourage public debate on issues of climate change and biodiversity decline.

Entry is free, and tickets can be booked online in advance at Eventbrite.

EDFOE spokesman, Dr Martin Price says: “For many people, the issue of climate change can seem remote and confusing. We hope that this event will bring BCP residents together and give us all a clearer understanding of what we can and must do in the next 10 years to avoid climate and ecological catastrophe3.”
