The initiative, which is taking part at 260 stores across the country, is part of M&S resetting its Plan-A sustainability programme with a pledge to cut its carbon footprint by a third by 2025 - as part of its commitment to be net zero by 2040.

M&S in Weymouth is taking part in the new incentive programme to reward M&S customers when they donate pre-loved clothes through its partnership with Oxfam.

Customers can take part in the initiative at the M&S Weymouth branch, which started last week (September 30), by scanning the QR code at the in-store 'Shwopping Point' - and a free treat will automatically be added to their customer's loyalty scheme account via the M&S app.
