A MAN has been arrested in connection with two reported assaults at a bar in Bournemouth town centre.
It was reported that at around 12.20am on Sunday, July 25, two men were assaulted at The Brass Haus in Westover Road.
Both victims were reportedly hit around the head from behind, causing them to fall and lose consciousness.
A man aged in his 20s sustained a broken jaw and a man aged in his 30s suffered a minor head injury.
Following enquiries and a CCTV appeal, a 41-year-old Poole man was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He has been released under investigation as further enquiries are carried out.
