A MAN has been arrested in connection with a reported burglary at a bike store in Ferndown.
Dorset Police received a report at around 3.30am on Friday September 24 of a burglary at Pedal Cycle Stores in Ringwood Road.
It was reported that a black Hyundai Ioniq was driven into the premises and two electric scooters were taken.
A further report was received that the Hyundai had been located on fire in Milhams Road in Bournemouth.
It was then established that the vehicle had been stolen from an address in Ferndown during the early hours of Friday September 24.
A Dorset Police spokesperson, said: "Following enquiries, a 43-year-old local man was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He has been released under investigation as detectives carry out further enquiries."
