IT’S National Curry Week this week. And if you’re in the mood to celebrate there’s no end of fantastic restaurants to choose from.
We asked our readers to tell us their top curry houses in the area.
TAJ of Corfe Mullen, which has an average of 4.6 stars out of five on Google with 261 reviews in total, came out as the winner with more recommendations than anywhere else.

"Not exactly Bournemouth, but will deliver to... the Taj of Corfe Mullen. Absolutely incredible food. And an amazing, friendly team who will give the best diner experience if dining in at the restaurant and great service for over the phone orders. 2. Ali’s Brasserie
Coming in second place was Ali's Brasserie in Wimborne Road, Moordown.
It has been described as serving the "best curry in the south" with "amazing food, lovely staff and great service".
3. Naan Restaurant
Naan Restaurant in Wimborne Road in Moordown was branded the "best curry in town."
4. Spice of India
Spice of India in Wimborne Road Kinson was described as "absolutely amazing".
Another person said: "Best one in Bournemouth. We have a take out each week always good and hot."
5. Taj Mahal
This restaurant in Poole Road, Westbourne, also recieved a decent number of votes.
One said: "Taj Mahal Westbourne without a shadow of a doubt!"
While another commented: "No contest - Taj Mahal in Westbourne."
Other restaurants that got a mention included Winton Tandoori,
Dilli Haat in Westbourne and Eye of the Tiger in Old Christchurch Road.
