A ROAD in Bournemouth will close for two weeks to enable the completion of a new access for Lidl.
A side section of Ringwood Road will be closed to all vehicles from October 25 until November 8 while works will be carried out, BCP Council confirmed in a public notice.
The notice said: “BCP Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below to control traffic.
“Road closed to all vehicles and no parking, no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time.
“Works to be carried out by C&L Traffic Management to enable the completion of the new access for Lidl.
“Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.
“These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations.
“Restrictions may be in effect under this order for up to 18 months and could be further extended with the approval of the secretary of state.”
The closure will be in place on the side section off Poole Lane roundabout, from its junction with Poole Lane to its junction with Dominion Road.
