THE council have announced changes to the opening times of recycling centres across the area from today.
The new winter opening times for the three major recycling centres across Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch will start from October 1 and will be in place until March 31.
Millhams Recycling Centre in Bournemouth and the Household Recycling Centre on the Nuffield Industrial Estate in Poole will close an hour early and will be in operation from 9am to 4pm daily.
The Christchurch Household Recycling Centre on Wilverley Road in Christchurch will be open from 10am to 4pm as opposed to 9am to 6pm every day.
All sites will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day this year, but residents are advised to check the council’s website for updates before travelling.
