Rail commuters in Dorset are to experience delays due to points failure issues between Bournemouth and Weymouth.
Trains at Bournemouth Station may be cancelled, delayed or revised and the situation is expected to last until 9pm.
The services which are affected are the CrossCountry line between Manchester Piccadilly and Bournemouth and South Western Railway trains between London Waterloo and Poole / Weymouth.
Passengers are advised to check their journey using the National Rail Enquiries real-time Journey Planner.
This follows disruption between Bournemouth and Brockenhurst earlier this afternoon due to a problem with the electrical supply between these stations which has since been resolved.
In a statement on their website, National Rail said: “There is a points failure at Bournemouth.
"As a result of this, trains at Bournemouth may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
“We anticipate disruption will continue until 9pm.”
