THE Red Arrows took to the skies over Dorset on Thursday, September 16, just weeks after performing at the Bournemouth Air Festival.

Residents across Bournemouth were treated to the RAF's aerobatic team once again after they touched down at Bournemouth Airport just after midday.

The display team was on its way back from a Battle of Britain memorial flyover in Cardiff.

Later that day the Red Arrows took to the sky again in the afternoon at 4.51pm as they jetted off to the Isle of Wight to perform a display for the island's four-day festival.

Around 40 minutes at half past five the RAF team returned back to Bournemouth Airport following their display at the Isle of Wight Festival.

At 10am on Friday, September 17, the Red Arrows took off again from the airport in Dorset as they set off to return back to their base at RAF Scampton, in Lincolnshire; where they arrived around half an hour later at 10.32am.

Readers managed to capture the planes in the skies across Bournemouth and here is a selection of some of the images and videos they captured.
