POLICE have urged for people in Christchurch to look after their possessions after a lady was robbed of her handbag whilst inside a charity shop in Christchurch.
The victim had her bag, containing her mobile phone and a collection of paperwork, robbed when visiting a charity shop on Bargates in the morning of September 10.
Officers have asked for anyone with information about the incident to contact police.
A police spokesman said: “Unfortunately on the Friday September 10 at approximately 11.45am at the Age Concern charity chop on Bargates, Christchurch, a female had her bag stolen.
“The handbag was blue with a Huawei mobile phone inside. There was also some photocopied paperwork contained in the bag.
“Please think about your personal safety when out and about and keep your belongings secure.
“If you have any information about this, please contact 101 and quote 55210147179.”
