DORSET-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green is hoping to find forever homes for animals in its care.

Socks is a one-year-old Collie cross who is looking for a home that can provide her with plenty of exercise. She can be nervous around strangers, but she is very loving once she knows you. Socks could live with another dog, providing they're happy with her playful nature. She will need to continue her training and to live in an adult-only home without any cats or small furries.

Bournemouth Echo:

Kooks is a three-year-old male Greyhound who has a very sweet nature. Once he gets over his shyness, he loves cuddles. He would thrive and feel more comfortable living in a quieter rural environment. Kooks is looking for a home without cats or other small animals, but would be able to live with other sighthounds in an adult-only home.

Polar is 14-years-old and is a very independent lady who is looking for her forever home. She likes to be around people, but fuss and attention has to be on her own terms or she can become frustrated. Polar will need to be the only pet in a quiet home.

Bournemouth Echo:

Shakespeare is a two-year-old Cockerel who is looking for a forever home with his 4 ladies. They have needed treatment for scaly leg, but they are hopefully finishing their treatment soon. They are a mix of ages and breeds, but they get on very well as a little group.

Bournemouth Echo:

Glenda is aged between one and two-years-old. Glenda and her 15 other ex-caged friends are looking for their forever homes.

Chloe is 11-years-old. She can be shy until she gets to know you and enjoys attention on her own terms. She needs an understanding home where her owners are happy for her to do as she pleases. She would like to be the only pet in a quiet, adult-only household. She has been diagnosed with feline odontoclastic resorption lesion (FORLs), so her new owners will need to be aware of this.
