A MAN was rushed to hospital with head, leg and arm injuries after he was hurt in a landslide.

A man was taken to hospital following a landslide at Kimmeridge Bay at 1.27pm this afternoon.

The man, in his 30s, sustained head, leg and arm injuries. His condition is not believed to be life-threatening.

A spokesman for Dorset Police said: "We were called at 1.27pm to reports of a landslide at Kimmeridge.

"A man, aged in his 30s, sustained head, leg and arm injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital for treatment. His condition is not life-threatening."

Dorset Council issued a warning for people to avoid the area following the landslip.

A spokesman said: "There has been a considerable landslip at Kimmeridge Bay. Emergency Services are on the scene. Please avoid the area for now and we'll bring more updates as we have them.

"Stay safe everyone. The coast and surrounding areas can be unpredictable."
