CAN you give any of these animals a forever home?

Dorset-based animal rescue centre Margaret Green is hoping to find homes for a variety of animals in its care.

Bournemouth Echo:

Reggie is a large pup who is currently as large as a Mastiff breed, so he is a seriously oversized lap dog. He is looking for someone to continue his training and socialisation. He can be nervous when he first meets new people but when he knows you, he will be your best friend. He would be happy to live with another dog, possibly a confident cat and older children.

Bournemouth Echo:

Blackberry is an "exuberant" nine-week-old Lurcher. When she came in to rescue, she had an awful case of mange and worms. She has now received treatment and her hair is slowly growing back. She has a very cheeky and out-going temperament. Ideally she would like to be homed with a well-rounded male dog. Her new family will also need to take her to training classes.

Bournemouth Echo:

Toby is an energetic two-year-old male Collie. He would like to find a home that understands his breed and would be happy to continue his training, as he can become very overexcited in some situations. He is a sweet boy and loves to cuddle. He is looking for an adult-only home in a rural area, where he will be the only pet.

Bournemouth Echo:

Burt is an 11-year-old duck who is looking for a forever home with his four female companions. They are a mix of breeds and ages but get on well. They are looking for a home with a fox-proof house that can be shut overnight. They enjoy swimming on the pond and diving for tasty bits, so they would need a pond in their new home.

Bournemouth Echo:

Boris the goat is around two-years-old and is looking for a home where he will be a companion to another goat. He is a very active and playful lad, who will need a lot of space and things to do to occupy his time. He will need high fencing in his new home, as he has long legs and can jump easily.

Bournemouth Echo:

Garfield is 14-years-old and looking for a quiet forever home where he is the only pet, as he can get a little nervous. Garfield has had a blood test and the results have come back with some renal distress, so he will need to be on a special renal diet in his new home.
