VETERAN rocker Shakin' Stevens, who made a surprise re-visit to the UK singles chart over Christmas, will be heading for Dorset this summer when he rocks Lulworth Castle for a fourth of July special.

Tickets for the show, plus a performance the previous evening by tribute bands FAB Beatles & The Rollin' Clones are on sale now.

Welsh singer Shaky, whose distinctive and gusty vocals first dominated charts more than 25 years ago, who enjoyed hits including This Ole House, Green Door, A Rocking Good Way and his self-penned number one, Oh Julie, will be performing rock, R&B and country blues including material from his latest album, Now Listen.

Joining him on the evening will be Dorset's own supremely talented boogie woogie piano man Ben Waters and his Big Band.

Waters' raunchy vocals and exuberant style have earned him a superb reputation as one of the finest performers today with key-shattering piano and hot rhythms that has impressed everyone from Jools Holland to the real Rolling Stones.

The evening will mark something of a reunion for these two performers as Ben left college to tour with Shaky back in 1992 and says he is thrilled at the prospect of being back on stage with him.
