ONE of Bournemouth’s best-known businesses has reported “dreadful” losses.

The plight of Amigo Loans – and its boss’s optimism that the business can be saved – leads off round-up of the week’s top business stories.

This week has also seen some of Britain’s top retailers close local branches. Iceland is to disappear from Poole High Street, while H&M is closing its store in Bournemouth’s Commercial Road.

But there are also positive signs, including the imminent of opening of Bobby’s, a retail name from yesteryear being revived in Bournemouth’s former Debenhams building.
