CHRISTCHURCH’S second Lidl store is expected to open in less than a week’s time.
The frontage of the new store at Christchurch Retail Park is now complete with last minute works taking place ahead of its official opening on Thursday, August 26.
The other Lidl store is located two miles away from its new premises, in Somerford Road.

The new store will measure around 1,700 sq m and include the full range of Lidl amenities.
The opening of the Lidl store is said to create around 40 full and part time jobs.
Work began on the store in August 2020 on the unit at Christchurch Retail Park following the scaling down of the adjacent Homebase premises.
The new Lidl supermarket forms part of the company’s ongoing £1.3bn investment across the country in 2021 and 2022.
