FROM a ball-loving pug to a pet named after a character from the musical Hamilton, we have a range of beloved companions to introduce to you today.

Ferne Grice introduced us to her pet Lafayette who is “named after my favourite character in Hamilton.”

Poppy the pug loves to chase her ball all day, according to owner Mad Gillingham.

Treacle the mongrel is “very friendly” and loves meeting people.

Say hello to Michelle Green’s Maine Coon Dexter, who “loves to play with his toy mouse and have a belly rub.”

Tracy Elton described her perfect pooch Toffee as “so loving and caring.”

Tabby cat Lily enjoys nothing more than eating cheese, tuna and gammon from the fridge.

Barney the cockapoo loves to play with his toys and has a loving nature.

Laying in the sun is one of the favourite pastimes of Tina Orchard’s dog Rosie a Yorkshire terrier.

Tina said: “She is so loving and when I have my nieces over, she lets them dress her up. Rosie loves my nephew Calvin so much and she follows him everywhere.”

Last but not least, say hello to Murphy the shar pei who adores cuddling.
