POLICE found no suspicious circumstances after receiving third-party reports of an abduction in Bournemouth.

The force was called shortly after 5.15pm on Tuesday to an abduction in Verney Road.

A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “At 5.17pm on Tuesday, July 20, Dorset Police received a third-party report of a teenage girl being forced into a vehicle in Verney Road, Bournemouth.

“Officers attended the area and conducted enquiries into the incident. The relevant vehicle was found and all those involved, who were part of a family group, were located safe and well and spoken to.

“It was established that there were no suspicious circumstances and no offences committed.”
