DORSET music festival Camp Bestival will require attendees to provide evidence that they are covid-safe this summer.
The hotly-anticipated event will go ahead next week from July 29 - August 1 in the grounds of Lulworth Castle.
In a bid to keep guests safe, organisers have put in place a requirement that all attendees aged 11 and over must prove their Covid-19 status.
Announcing the measures via a series of tweets, a spokesman for the festival said: "With your safety as our number one priority, Camp Bestival will ask all ticket holders aged 11 and over to demonstrate their Covid-19 status before entering the festival."
Ticket holders can do so by providing EITHER of the following:
- Proof of full vaccination – both doses received (with the second at least 14 days prior to the festival)
Or
- Proof of a negative NHS Lateral Flow Test taken prior to travel on the day of arrival at the festival
Or
- Proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test within 180 days of the festival (including 10 days self-isolation following the result).
Or
Please note 11-15 year olds will need to take a lateral flow test if they have no proof of natural immunity as above.
Or
- Proof of natural immunity based upon a positive PCR test within 180 days of the festival (including 10 days self-isolation following the result)
