A THREE-pronged fishing hook was removed from a child's face at Poole Hospital with the help of the fire and rescue service.
Medical staff called in crew from Poole Fire and Rescue to assist with the removal of a large treble fishing hook from a child's face in the early hours of the morning.
The fire and rescue crew were called to the hospital at 12.34am on Monday, July 19.

They arrived with a dremel cutting tool to remove barbs from the large hook that was stuck in the young child's face.
After the hook was cut down into 3 pieces it could be reversed out.
The fire crew stood down at 1.49am.
