MORE THAN 100,000 coronavirus vaccines have been administed by pharmacies across Dorset, according to the latest figures. 

Local pharmacies across the region have played a crucial role in the counties vaccine programme, which has seen more than 1.3 million jabs given across Dorset. 

Ten pharmacy sites throughout the county are now offering COVID-19 vaccinations, with Avicenna Pharmacy in Bournemouth becoming the latest to deliver jabs.

Three-quarters of people in Dorset have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.
