THERE could have been 'tragic consequences' for teenagers who trespassed on Christchurch railway line.
Officers attended Christchurch Railway Station following a report of three teenagers playing on the train track.
British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the station at 6.13pm on Monday, July 12.
They spoke to one teenager and offered "words of advice".
A spokesperson for the BTP said: "Trespassing on the railway is extremely dangerous and we see hundreds of people taking risks on and around the tracks every year, resulting in tragic consequences or life-changing injuries.
"If you witness someone trespassing, please text BTP on 61016 or call 0800 40 50 40. In an emergency, always dial 999."
There was no disruption to services.
