DORSET residents were treated to not one, but two, spectacular displays by the Red Arrows this weekend as they attended Goodwood and the Euros 2020.
The planes flew into Bournemouth Airport from their base at RAF Scampton on Friday morning, July 12.
Flying to perform at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the Isle of Wight on Friday the jets departed the airport at 11.49am and returned to Bournemouth at 12.30pm.

The schedule was the same on Saturday for the Red Arrows, leaving Bournemouth at 11.49 and returning at 12.30.
On Sunday, July 11, the jets traveled to Goodwood for their final display at midday and returned 12.20pm.
The iconic Red Arrows then left Bournemouth, their home for the weekend, to perform at the Euros 2020 final match where England were sadly beaten by Italy.

Leaving Bournemouth at 7.27pm, the Red Arrows made it to Wembley for 7.48pm, 12 minutes before kick-off.
They then made it back to their base in Scampton at 8.10pm, meaning the pilots missed Luke Shaw’s opening goal.
The display team have performed on a number of occasions at the Bournemouth Air Festival, and will be back in the town this summer for its return.
