FOUR teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of robbery, after a man was reportedly attacked in the early hours and had his electric unicycle stolen.

Dorset Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward after the incident, which took place at Pier Approach, Bournemouth, close to the crazy golf, around 12.30am on Wednesday.

A Bournemouth man who was riding the unicycle was approached by a group a teenage boys, police say.

Some of the teens asked to ride the unicycle but the victim refused and was subsequently assaulted.

When he came around he discovered his unicycle, mobile phone and wallet were missing.

The electric unicycle is a new InMotion with 1500Wh battery, 2200 motor and pedal suspension.

Detective Sergeant Karen Penn, of the Priority Crime Team, said: “I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please get in touch.

“I am also particularly keen to hear from anyone who has seen an electric unicycle for sale locally matching the description given.”

Two boys from Bournemouth, aged 16 and 17, and two boys from Christchurch, aged 15 and 17, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and have been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
