THE event may have cancelled for the last two years due to Covid-19, but that doesn't stop us from looking at pictures of the occasion 20 years ago.
Organisers found the races at Poole Festival of Running in 2001 to be a great success, despite being difficult for some of the participants.
These pictures, taken June 12, 2021, show the 10k races.
It was the fifth year running that the prestigious Poole 10k had run side-by-side with the equally popular series of minithon races for youngsters.
