Crews were then called to Canford Heath at 21.31pm.
They discovered an area of heathland approximately 10m by 10m which they put out using two hose reels.
The source of the fires is not known however the fire service have urged people to be careful when they are out and about.
They have also reminded people that dropping litter may lead to fires and asked people to keep barbecues to their gardens.
Please be careful when you are out & about in the beautiful open spaces. Dropping litter can lead to fires starting & keep the BBQ's to your garden. We love a hot dog/veggie dog as much as the next person but we aren't willing to put these spaces & wildlife at risk to have one.
