CONCERNS are growing for the welfare of a missing 13-year-old boy, believed to be staying in the Bournemouth area.
Dorset Police have appealed for help from the public to locate Cartel Bushnell, who was last seen in the Trowbridge area of Wiltshire on Saturday, June 5.
Police say Cartel, who was reported missing on Wednesday, June 9, has since travelled to Dorset and has been staying in the Bournemouth area.
Police Inspector Greg Tansill, of Dorset Police, said: “Due to the length of time since Cartel was last seen and his young age, we are concerned for his welfare and are carrying out a number of enquiries to locate him.
“I am appealing to anyone who has seen Cartel or a boy matching the description and photograph given to please get in touch.
“Finally, if you see this appeal Cartel – please make contact with us or your family so we can ensure that you are safe and well.”
Cartel is described as white, five feet four inches tall and of slim build with brown hair.
Anyone with information or knowledge as to Cartel’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk, via email 101@dorset.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting incident number 10:33.
