THE parking charges for the undercliff car park confuse me. The charges for summer low season March 30 to July 1 are up to six hours £9.20, so if I stayed 12 hours, which if using a beach hut during May/June is not unreasonable, would be £18.40.
High season July 1 to September 1, is £13.60 before 2pm, so I can stay all day for this charge, which could be 12 hours or more.
I would think £9.20 for six hours or more would be a reasonable for low season.
Also Poole residents for many years have been able to buy a beach car park season ticket, and now we are one big happy family of BCP, why does this not apply to Bournemouth?
