Speeding company director banned from driving for six months
A COMPANY director who smashed the speed limit on the M3 near Winchester has been banned from driving for six months.
Nigel Draper, 58, was clocked driving a 15-reg Volvo V70 at 116mph on the M3 on July 2 last year, a court heard.
Draper, of Forest View Drive, Ferndown, is listed at Companies House as a management consultant and director of Sorsco Consultancy Ltd.
He was at Basingstoke Magistrates Court to plead guilty to the charge under the single justice procedure.
Magistrates said a ban was necessary because of repeat offending and also fined him £923 with a £92 victim surcharge and £90 costs
