I SEE from a report in Saturday’s Echo that in some car parks you now pay by phone.
I am elderly and like I suspect many other older people I do not use a mobile phone or understand the world of apps.
As a council tax payer in this area perhaps Councillor Greene would like to explain why I am excluded from using a public service, but having to pay for others to benefit.
I note the report says some car parks are still available for cash payments and perhaps Councillor Greene would also to list where these are available and confirm how long they will remain, as I suspect the council’s intention is to convert all car parks to phone only.
