COASTGUARDS and the ambulance service were called out to help a casualty on Bournemouth seafront in the late hours of Sunday evening.
Southbourne Coastguards were tasked at 10.51pm on May 30 to assist the South Western Ambulance Service in the incident at Bournemouth Pier.
An air ambulance was also called out, and first aid was provided by paramedics at the scene.
A spokesman from Southbourne Coastguards said: “We were tasked at 10.51pm by the joint rescue co-ordination centre by to a medical incident at Bournemouth Pier and to assist South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and provide a helicopter landing site for Helimed.
“Once on scene the casualty was in care of the road ambulance, with no further coastguard requirement team stood down and returned to station.”
