LEWIE EDWARD ALEXANDER BEAVIS, aged 31, of Locks Lane, Dorchester. Admitted assault by beating by headbutting a victim at East Street, Bridport. BRIDPORT

NEIL BROOKS QUANT, aged 39, of St Swithins Road, Bridport. Admitted assault by beating. Community order made. Must participate in rehabilitation activity up to a maximum of 20 days. Also admitted at Abbotsbury Road, Weymouth to having driven a vehicle and failing when required to provide a breath specimen in the course of an investigation into whether an offence had been committed. Also contacted an individual by sending a number of messages via Instagram whilst being prohibited from doing so by a non-molestation order. Must participate in an accredited programme for 42 days and carry out unpaid work for 80 hours. Restraining order made. To pay a victim surcharge of £95 and costs of £85.

DONALD KNIGHT, aged 89, of Happy Island Way, Bridport. Admitted driving a vehicle, namely an Audi A5, on West Road, Bridport, without due care and attention. Fined £250, to pay a victim surcharge of £32 and costs of £110. Driving record endorsed with 9 penalty points.
