THE A349 Gravel Hill has been reopened after a fallen tree in the road caused traffic dsiruption for commuters in Poole.
The incident, which was located between Dunyeats roundabout and Darby’s Corner roundabout, was reported to BCP Council at 4.02pm with traffic slow in both directions.
Council staff were called out to deal with the obstructions and the road was reopened as of 5.22pm.
Congestion on Dunyeats Road and Lower Blandford Road, along the diversion route has also subsided.
Traffic which was backed up to the A31 Canford Bottom Roundabout, and the queues on Waterloo Rd, Canford Heath Road and Broadstone Way ahve also lessened.
