Pictures show how a bus and an 'abnormal load' vehicle crashed on a main route through Dorset this morning.

A passenger on the bus at the time of the crash sent in images as the situation unfolded.

The collision happened on the A350 at Spetisbury, north Dorset.

The bus and the lorry were described as being 'wedged' together as a result.

It was reported to police just before 9am, and is understood to have taken place on a 'notorious' bend near to a junction.

A Dorset Police spokesman confirmed the road has now been cleared.

Fortunately no injuries have been reported.

A Dorset Police spokesman said: "We received a report at 8.53am of a collision involving a bus and a lorry on the A350 at Spetisbury, near to the junction with Louse Lane. It was reported that the road was blocked.

"Officers attended.

There were no reports of any injuries and the road was cleared at around "9.30am."
