OUR pets are an integral part of our lives and have supported us throughout the pandemic.
For this reason, we want to put your beloved furry and feathered friends in the spotlight.
This week we say hello to dashing dogs, a playful cat and a fabulous ferret.
Anastasia Herring from Bournemouth shared a picture of Cody, her five-year-old ferret.
According to Anastasia, Cody loves to explore the outdoors, go on adventures, ride on Anastasia's motorbike in his tank bag snuggle.
Carley Truelove's German Shepherd Phoebe enjoys cuddles on the sofa, long walks, and curling up with her two cat brothers.
Carley said: "She is beautiful, affectionate and has a cheeky personality."
Amy Jenkins from Poole introduced us to her Welsh collie Barney who loves to play and eat, while Monique Ann Wormstrup shared pictures of her short haired cat Flash.
A 15-year-old Shih Tzu cross Lhasa Apso who enjoys attention and food is the last pet in our spotlight this Saturday.
Owner Amy Irvine said: "Missy loves walks, cuddles and other dogs, but she also loves a comfy sofa to nap on as she is very old. My favourite thing about her is a her loyalty and companionship. She is by my side every minute of the day and she is my best friend."
