Letter to the Editor: Far too many people
I AM sure the views of Save the Earth, Save the World, Extinction Rebellion, and other climate/control experts are well intentioned.
But as the world use up resources, cut down forests, build more power stations, factories, cars, trains, planes, use tons of plastic, the experts and groups will not mention or address the heart of the problem – far too many people.
Until World Governments try to halt the population explosion all the tinkering and self-sacrifice will be of no avail.
World Population 1951 2.58 billion. 2021 7.86 billion 2091 18.00 billion?
The last estimate is not sustainable I’m afraid,
As Private Frazer said in Dads Army: “We’re all doomed!”
