A MAN has been safely located following a concern for welfare incident on a Southampton bridge.
Police officers were called to Itchen Bridge having received a concern for welfare report.
Motorists were warned of traffic and delays in both directions earlier this afternoon.
The route has since reopened and the man located.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called just around 2.10pm to a report of a concern for the welfare of a man on the Itchen Bridge. Officers have attended and the man has been located."
