RESIDENTS have been warned to be on the lookout for a car which has been seen acting suspiciously in the area.
A “muddy brown” Hyundai was seen in suspicious circumstances near to Cranborne on Friday May 7.
The occupants of the vehicle were seen looking around homes in the surrounding area.
Dorset Police Rural Crime Team has urged for people to remain vigilant as the vehicle could come to notice across the county.
A spokesman from the force said: “Please be on the lookout for a small "Muddy Brown" Hyundai. We have no further information on the vehicle.
“This vehicle has been seen in suspicious circumstances around the Cranborne area on the afternoon of Friday May 7. The occupants were spotted looking around properties.
“If this vehicle or other vehicles are seen acting suspiciously, please gather as much information as possible such as the registration number and descriptions of the driver and any passengers and if it’s safe to do so please do take a photograph, don’t put yourself in danger to do this.
