AIR bags and tools were used to free a cat stuck inside the suspension of a car.
A Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue crew was called to Maple Road in Shaftesbury just after 11am on Sunday May 2.
Eight fire crews called to smell of smoke at Debenhams in Bournemouth Square
The crew, from Shaftesbury, released the cat safely and handed it back to its owner after half-an-hour.
It is not known how long the cat had been in the engine or how it got there.
