THE Southbourne Coastguard team had an early morning callout to a man who had injured themselves at Fisherman’s Walk.
Crews were called at around 3.30am on Sunday to Fisherman’s Walk where they helped the casualty into the care of the paramedics.
A spokesperson for Southbourne Coastguard said: “Tasked at 0335 hours by the national maritime operations centre to reports of a male who had injured themselves near Fisherman’s Walk beach, Southbourne.
“Once on scene we provided casualty care until the ambulance arrived on scene when we then transferred the casualty to the paramedics for onward transport to hospital.
“At this point we stood down and returned to station.”
