THREE people from Bournemouth have been sentenced by the courts for speeding on main roads in Hampshire.

Steven Barry Williams, 49 and of Wentworth Close, Bournemouth, admitted driving a Jaguar XF on the A31 near Ringwood on December 8, 2020, at 98mph in a 70mph zone.

He was fined £333 and ordered to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs. His driving record was endorsed with five points.

Amanda Jane Kittlety, 60 and of Queen's Park South Drive, Bournemouth, was convicted of driving a Mercedes on the M27 eastbound between junction four and five, near Eastleigh, on November 3, 2020, at 60mph when a temporary 50mph limit was in force.

She was fined £220, with an order to pay a £34 surcharge and £90 costs. The bench also issued her with three points on her licence.

Ilja Burakevic, 41 and of Christchurch Road, Bournemouth, was convicted of driving an Audi A5 on the M3 northbound between junction seven and six, near Basingstoke, on November 27, 2020, at 95mph when the limit was 70mph.

He was fined £440 and ordered to pay a £44 surcharge and £90 costs. His driving record was endorsed with five points.

The cases were all dealt with at Aldershot Magistrates' Court on Monday, April 26, under the single justice procedure.
