Unauthorised encampments in Bournemouth and Poole being monitored by the council
UNAUTHORISED encampments have been set up at two sites in Bournemouth and Poole.
BCP Council has confirmed that the local authority is aware and monitoring the situations at both Littledown Sports Centre playing fields and Bedford Road North.
In relation to the situation at Littledown, a BCP Council spokesperson said: "The council and the police are aware of the unauthorised encampment and assessments of the encampment have been carried out.
"The unauthorised encampment is being visited/monitored daily by the council."
While on Bedford Road North, the spokesperson said: "The council is aware of the single living unit at Bedford Road North, Poole, and the required assessments have been carried out."
